Jamie Saunders leads CNK’s Energy Sector Non-Cyber Regulatory & Policy Services with a specific focus on FERC and state commission solutions.  With over a decade of experience in regulatory policy, cost recovery and ratemaking, Jamie’s focus is to help clients navigate through the ever-changing regulatory landscape and develop solutions specific to their business challenges

 

Jamie has  a diverse set of skills and comprehensive knowledge from  years of experience in roles at both federal and state commissions. Jamie has considerable experience in regulatory compliance, audit, rate case strategy, and cost allocation and brings a unique perspective having worked in key energy roles in both the public and private sector

 

Prior to CNK Solutions, Jamie spent 4 years at Deloitte & Touche, LLP in its Energy & Resources advisory practice providing a variety of consulting and transactional services to clients in the energy industry.  Jamie also served at both the state and federal commissions, most notably having served 9 years at FERC between the Office of Enforcement as an auditor and the Office of Administrative Litigation where she was as a member of FERC trial staff covering rate design, rate recovery, and regulatory accounting transactions.  In addition, Jamie held a dual role at a private transmission company as its FERC Compliance Manager and FERC Regulatory Rates Manager
